1. Acceptance of Terms

By using LingoDeck ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

LingoDeck is a web-based tool that generates HSK-aligned Chinese vocabulary flashcards. Each card includes pinyin, example sentences, collocations, translations in multiple languages, and an AI-generated illustration. Cards can be exported as Anki-compatible CSV or downloaded as printable A4 PNG images.

3. Free and Paid Usage

3.1 Free Quota

New users receive a limited number of free card generations (currently 30). Additional free credits may be available through promotional actions.

3.2 Paid Credits

You may purchase additional generation credits via PayPal, WeChat Pay, or Alipay. Credits are applied to your anonymous user ID immediately upon payment. Credits are non-refundable once used, but unused credits do not expire.

3.3 Fair Use

To prevent API abuse, rate limits apply: 200 cards per IP per day, 120 cards per user per hour. Exceeding these limits will temporarily block further generation.

4. User Content

You are responsible for the words and text you input. Do not use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' intellectual property. We do not store your input after processing.

5. AI-Generated Content

Cards are generated by AI models (DeepSeek for text, SiliconFlow/Kolors for images). While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that pinyin, translations, or example sentences are error-free. You are responsible for verifying content before using it for examination preparation.

6. Intellectual Property

Generated cards are for personal or classroom use. You may not resell, redistribute, or use generated cards commercially without permission. The LingoDeck brand, website design, and code are owned by the site operator.

7. Payment Disputes

For payment issues (wrong amount, failed delivery), contact us with your order ID for resolution. Refunds for unused credits will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

8. Service Availability

The Service depends on third-party AI APIs and hosting providers. We do not guarantee 100% uptime. Service may be interrupted for maintenance, API outages, or force majeure.

9. Limitation of Liability

LingoDeck is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of generated content, including but not limited to exam failures, misunderstandings, or data loss.

10. Account Termination

Since accounts are anonymous (cookie-based), there is no formal account deletion. Clearing your browser cookies effectively removes your identity. Order records linked to your anonymous ID are retained for accounting purposes.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable international e-commerce and digital service regulations. Disputes will be resolved through good-faith communication first.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
